The time it takes for them to spawn and move around makes it fair for both teams, as the zombies have adequate squads to counter the Survivors.
Zombies, on the other hand, can call in any zombie squad from their HQ. Safehouses also heal nearby units and recharge their abilities.
Then upgrade the building to a safehouse. To get a safehouse, use your starting survivors to find an empty building, and have them get in. Also, most early zombie units can be countered by survivors, so this makes it fair for the zombie player. Therefore, you can spawn survivors from it. Firstly, survivors are hard to come by, so the safehouse attracts the survivors. The survivors need a Safehouse (forward HQ) to spawn any units other than the Builder squad. The Survivors start with a basic survivor squad, while zombies start with a basic zombie squad. To play as Survivors, move to the survivors slot. To play as zombies, move to the zombie slot.
Right now there are only 2 factions: Survivor and Zombie.Īs with regular Company of Heroes, choose your faction. Now all you have to do is double click the icon, and Zombie Mod should run. There should be a space after the quotes. Go to properties, and in the target line, after the quotes, add Place all of the files in your Company of Heroes section (usually C:/Program Files/THQ/Company of Heroes). Hopefully, when the final version is released, there will be an installer that installs the files for you. Do not change the save as name, just save it in an easily remembered area.
